This bioluminescent lagoon is inhabited by microscopic organisms that emit a phosphorescent light when the water around them is agitated. Shortly after sunset, you’ll board a boat that will take you across the lagoon to marvel at this unique phenomenon.
Board a boat for a ride on the bioluminescent lagoon to see the illumination of the water that occurs as the boat disturbs the microscopic organisms inhabiting the lagoon. On this boat ride after the sun goes down your boat captain and guide will tell you the story of the lagoon and why it glows.
As your boat approaches the center of the lagoon, your captain will tell you about the folklore about swimming in the lagoon. Then you’ll have a chance to slip into the lagoon, which is less than 5 feet deep. As you swim, the water around you will begin to glow. Watch as your hands begin to sparkle as if covered in glitter. After exploring this Jamaican natural wonder, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.

- Please feel free to bring photography equipment, but keep in mind that high-quality, high-resolution, DSLR cameras work best at the lagoon. Do not use a flash as you won’t see a thing

Cancellation Policy
- Any cancellations made at least ninety-six (96) hours or more shall not attract a cancellation fee
- Any cancellation made less than 96 hours but more than 72 hours in advance of the scheduled tour time, will attract a fifty percent (50%) penalty
- Any cancellation made within forty-eight (48) hours or on the same day that the booking is made will attract a one hundred percent (100%) penalty
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Company and received by Jam Rock Tours Jamaica within the timeframes outlined above to be eligible for a refund
